Furadouro beach

Known as a fishermen’s beach or a surfers’ beach, depending on the season, the long sandy beach of Praia do Furadouro is bathed by a strong Atlantic swell.

Surrounded by a dense pine forest, this beach is about 3 km away from Ovar, a distance that can be covered by bicycle through the bicycle path. Beyond the forest area, there is the Ria, whose calm waters are used by windsurfers.
